92:1وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ﴿١﴾

92:2وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ﴿٢﴾

92:3وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ﴿٣﴾
"By [the mystery of] the creation of male and female;-"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:4إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ﴿٤﴾
"Verily, [the ends] ye strive for are diverse."— Yusuf Ali translation

92:5فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ﴿٥﴾
"So he who gives [in charity] and fears [Allah],"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:6وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ﴿٦﴾
"And [in all sincerity] testifies to the best,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:7فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ﴿٧﴾
"We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss."— Yusuf Ali translation

92:8وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ﴿٨﴾
"But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient,"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:10فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ﴿١٠﴾
"We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery;"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:11وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ﴿١١﴾
"Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong [into the Pit]."— Yusuf Ali translation

92:12إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ﴿١٢﴾
"Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide,"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:13وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ﴿١٣﴾
"And verily unto Us [belong] the End and the Beginning."— Yusuf Ali translation

92:14فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًۭا تَلَظَّىٰ﴿١٤﴾
"Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely;"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:15لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى﴿١٥﴾
"None shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:16ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ﴿١٦﴾
"Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs."— Yusuf Ali translation

92:17وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى﴿١٧﴾
"But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:18ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ﴿١٨﴾
"Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification,"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:19وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍۢ تُجْزَىٰٓ﴿١٩﴾
"And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return,"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:20إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ﴿٢٠﴾
"But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High;"— Yusuf Ali translation

92:21وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ﴿٢١﴾
"And soon will they attain [complete] satisfaction."— Yusuf Ali translation
