91:2وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا﴿٢﴾

91:9قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا﴿٩﴾
"Truly he succeeds that purifies it,"— Yusuf Ali translation

91:10وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا﴿١٠﴾
"And he fails that corrupts it!"— Yusuf Ali translation

91:11كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ﴿١١﴾
"The Thamud [people] rejected [their prophet] through their inordinate wrong- doing,"— Yusuf Ali translation

91:12إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا﴿١٢﴾
"Behold, the most wicked man among them was deputed [for impiety]."— Yusuf Ali translation

91:13فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا﴿١٣﴾
"But the Messenger of Allah said to them: "It is a She-camel of Allah! And [bar her not from] having her drink!""— Yusuf Ali translation

91:14فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا﴿١٤﴾
"Then they rejected him [as a false prophet], and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal [in destruction, high and low]!"— Yusuf Ali translation

91:15وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا﴿١٥﴾
"And for Him is no fear of its consequences."— Yusuf Ali translation
