بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ﴿١﴾

"By the Fig and the Olive,"— Yusuf Ali translation

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ﴿٢﴾

"And the Mount of Sinai,"— Yusuf Ali translation

وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ﴿٣﴾

"And this City of security,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ﴿٤﴾

"We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,"— Yusuf Ali translation

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ﴿٥﴾

"Then do We abase him [to be] the lowest of the low,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ﴿٦﴾

"Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing."— Yusuf Ali translation

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ﴿٧﴾

"Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment [to come]?"— Yusuf Ali translation

أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ﴿٨﴾

"Is not Allah the wisest of judges?"— Yusuf Ali translation
