85:8وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ﴿٨﴾
"And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!-"— Yusuf Ali translation

85:9ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ﴿٩﴾
"Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things."— Yusuf Ali translation

85:10إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ﴿١٠﴾
"Those who persecute [or draw into temptation] the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire."— Yusuf Ali translation

85:11إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ﴿١١﴾
"For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, [the fulfilment of all desires],"— Yusuf Ali translation

85:12إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ﴿١٢﴾
"Truly strong is the Grip [and Power] of thy Lord."— Yusuf Ali translation
