أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ﴿١﴾

"Seest thou one who denies the Judgment [to come]?"— Yusuf Ali translation

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ﴿٢﴾

"Then such is the [man] who repulses the orphan [with harshness],"— Yusuf Ali translation

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ﴿٣﴾

"And encourages not the feeding of the indigent."— Yusuf Ali translation

فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ﴿٤﴾

"So woe to the worshippers"— Yusuf Ali translation

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ﴿٥﴾

"Who are neglectful of their prayers,"— Yusuf Ali translation

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ﴿٦﴾

"Those who [want but] to be seen [of men],"— Yusuf Ali translation

وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ﴿٧﴾

"But refuse [to supply] [even] neighbourly needs."— Yusuf Ali translation
