75:1لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ﴿١﴾

75:2وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ﴿٢﴾

75:3أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ﴿٣﴾
"Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:4بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ﴿٤﴾
"Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:5بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ﴿٥﴾
"But man wishes to do wrong [even] in the time in front of him."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:6يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ﴿٦﴾
"He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?""— Yusuf Ali translation

75:7فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ﴿٧﴾
"At length, when the sight is dazed,"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:9وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ﴿٩﴾
"And the sun and moon are joined together,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:10يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ﴿١٠﴾
"That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?""— Yusuf Ali translation

75:12إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ﴿١٢﴾
"Before thy Lord [alone], that Day will be the place of rest."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:13يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ﴿١٣﴾
"That Day will Man be told [all] that he put forward, and all that he put back."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:14بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌۭ﴿١٤﴾
"Nay, man will be evidence against himself,"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:15وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ﴿١٥﴾
"Even though he were to put up his excuses."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:16لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ﴿١٦﴾
"Move not thy tongue concerning the [Qur'an] to make haste therewith."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:17إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ﴿١٧﴾
"It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it:"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:18فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ﴿١٨﴾
"But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital [as promulgated]:"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:19ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ﴿١٩﴾
"Nay more, it is for Us to explain it [and make it clear]:"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:20كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ﴿٢٠﴾
"Nay, [ye men!] but ye love the fleeting life,"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:21وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ﴿٢١﴾
"And leave alone the Hereafter."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:22وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاضِرَةٌ﴿٢٢﴾
"Some faces, that Day, will beam [in brightness and beauty];-"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:24وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌۭ﴿٢٤﴾
"And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal,"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:25تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌۭ﴿٢٥﴾
"In the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them;"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:26كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ﴿٢٦﴾
"Yea, when [the soul] reaches to the collar-bone [in its exit],"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:27وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍۢ﴿٢٧﴾
"And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician [to restore him]?""— Yusuf Ali translation

75:28وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ﴿٢٨﴾
"And he will conclude that it was [the Time] of Parting;"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:29وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ﴿٢٩﴾
"And one leg will be joined with another:"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:30إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ﴿٣٠﴾
"That Day the Drive will be [all] to thy Lord!"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:31فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ﴿٣١﴾
"So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray!-"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:32وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ﴿٣٢﴾
"But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away!"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:33ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ﴿٣٣﴾
"Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit!"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:34أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ﴿٣٤﴾
"Woe to thee, [O men!], yea, woe!"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:35ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ﴿٣٥﴾
"Again, Woe to thee, [O men!], yea, woe!"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:36أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى﴿٣٦﴾
"Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, [without purpose]?"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:37أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ﴿٣٧﴾
"Was he not a drop of sperm emitted [in lowly form]?"— Yusuf Ali translation

75:38ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ﴿٣٨﴾
"Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did [Allah] make and fashion [him] in due proportion."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:39فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ﴿٣٩﴾
"And of him He made two sexes, male and female."— Yusuf Ali translation

75:40أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ﴿٤٠﴾
"Has not He, [the same], the power to give life to the dead?"— Yusuf Ali translation
