56:18بِأَكْوَابٍۢ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۢ﴿١٨﴾

56:19لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ﴿١٩﴾

56:20وَفَٰكِهَةٍۢ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ﴿٢٠﴾

"And [there will be] Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:23كَأَمْثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ﴿٢٣﴾
"Like unto Pearls well-guarded."— Yusuf Ali translation

56:24جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿٢٤﴾
"A Reward for the deeds of their past [life]."— Yusuf Ali translation

56:25لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًۭا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا﴿٢٥﴾

"Nothing [will there be] to refresh, nor to please:"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:45إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ﴿٤٥﴾
"For that they were wont to be indulged, before that, in wealth [and luxury],"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:46وَكَانُوا۟ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى ٱلْحِنثِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿٤٦﴾
"And persisted obstinately in wickedness supreme!"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:47وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ﴿٤٧﴾
"And they used to say, "What! when we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised up again?-"— Yusuf Ali translation

""[We] and our fathers of old?""— Yusuf Ali translation

56:49قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْءَاخِرِينَ﴿٤٩﴾
"Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times,"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:50لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ﴿٥٠﴾
""All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known."— Yusuf Ali translation

56:51ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ﴿٥١﴾

56:52لَءَاكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍۢ مِّن زَقُّومٍۢ﴿٥٢﴾
""Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum."— Yusuf Ali translation

56:53فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ﴿٥٣﴾
""Then will ye fill your insides therewith,"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:54فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ﴿٥٤﴾
""And drink Boiling Water on top of it:"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:55فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ﴿٥٥﴾
""Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!""— Yusuf Ali translation

56:56هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ﴿٥٦﴾
"Such will be their entertainment on the Day of Requital!"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:57نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ﴿٥٧﴾

56:60نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ﴿٦٠﴾

56:62وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ فَلَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ﴿٦٢﴾
"And ye certainly know already the first form of creation: why then do ye not celebrate His praises?"— Yusuf Ali translation

"See ye the seed that ye sow in the ground?"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:65لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَٰهُ حُطَٰمًۭا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ﴿٦٥﴾

56:82وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿٨٢﴾

56:83فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ﴿٨٣﴾
"Then why do ye not [intervene] when [the soul of the dying man] reaches the throat,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:84وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍۢ تَنظُرُونَ﴿٨٤﴾
"And ye the while [sit] looking on,-"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:85وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ﴿٨٥﴾

56:86فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ﴿٨٦﴾

56:87تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿٨٧﴾
"Call back the soul, if ye are true [in the claim of independence]?"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:88فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ﴿٨٨﴾
"Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah,"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:89فَرَوْحٌۭ وَرَيْحَانٌۭ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍۢ﴿٨٩﴾
"[There is for him] Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights."— Yusuf Ali translation

56:90وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿٩٠﴾
"And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand,"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:91فَسَلَٰمٌۭ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿٩١﴾
"[For him is the salutation], "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand."— Yusuf Ali translation

56:92وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ﴿٩٢﴾
"And if he be of those who treat [Truth] as Falsehood, who go wrong,"— Yusuf Ali translation

56:93فَنُزُلٌۭ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ﴿٩٣﴾
"For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water."— Yusuf Ali translation

"Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly."— Yusuf Ali translation
